Vanesa Arandia is the ES Spanish teacher in Panther Native Language Academy. Ms. Arandia holds Bachelor’s degrees in Education and Early Childhood from Queen’s University and the University of Guelph, respectively, as well as a Diploma in Early Childhood Education from the Humber College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning. Ms. Arandia shares our students’ experience of developing her mother tongue partly abroad; born in Venezuela, she moved with her parents to Ontario at age 5 and attended school in English while attending Saturday classes in her native Spanish.
