Season 1: Athletics & Activities Update

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Next week our Panther Activities. Panther Athletics and U11, U 12 and U14 ISB Athletics programs for Season 1 2023-24 will begin and we want to make sure you have the information you need to feel confident about how your child will get to and from their after-school activities. Remember that as an ISB policy, all PK-G1 students only require supervision before and after any activity.

Supervision for PK-G1 Students (required)

Parent or Nanny supervision is required for all PK-G1 students involved with after school activities. For those families who signed up on CCA indicating that they are not able to provide supervision for their child as they transition between the school and the first activity session only (2:25-2:40pm), please note that we do not provide support for students transitioning from session 1 to session 2 activities (3:40-4:00pm). In both of these scenarios, this is solely the responsibility of parents or nannies. As a reminder, ISB does not provide supervision for any PK students beyond the transition period from 1:10-1:30pm.

2nd Grade- 12th Grade

Students can find their way to their scheduled activity on their own, right from the start. If a student does not know where to go, they can go to the ES cafeteria and we will make sure to help them find their way.

Students who do not have a 1st session activity

Regardless of age or grade level, if your child does not have a session immediately after school (1:30pm for PK, 2:40pm for KG and G1), it is the parent’s   responsibility to make sure their children have supervision and a means to get to their activity at its scheduled start time. Again, supervision is only available during  the short transitions, 1:10pm for PK  and 2:25pm  for KG-G1.

Early Release Days (ERD)

Our after-school activities/athletics will begin at their regularly scheduled times on ERD days. This means that there will be a 90-minute gap between the end of the school day and the beginning of session 1. Supervision during this period is the responsibility of the parent. Questions? Contact the coordinator for the Wednesday activity.

 Refund Policy

The two reasons we would consider a refund are:

  • Your child has a medical issue that requires them to stop an activity (documentation is required)
  • Your family is leaving the country in the middle of the season

Inclement Weather

Every effort will be made to make up weather related cancellations however refunds will not be issued for activities that are canceled due to circumstances beyond the control of Panther Activities or Athletics.

We reserve the right to make necessary administrative modifications (i.e. instructor, combining classes, location, cancellations, etc.). Changes will be promptly communicated to the email address provided with your registration.

On behalf of all of our coaches, staff and coordinators, thank you for signing your children up for our after school programs. We can’t wait to work with your kids!

Regards,

Chris, Kelley, Fon and Anthony
