The PTA Executive had an amazing year, Last year

A warm welcome for so many new faces!

We the PTA community would like to send a warm welcome to the new head of school Dr. Sascha Heckmann, all the new families joining us and all our returning families. We are so looking forward to having such a good year, always for our students and also for our community.

The PTA executive had an amazing year last year. Coming out of COVID days at the start of the year, and with many people new to ISB and the executive, it was a year of learning while working.

We are so happy for all the volunteers and support we have received from parents, faculty and the staff at ISB.

We, the PTA  executive, would just like to outline to new and returning families,  many of the projects and activities that have been done with both the money and time of our PTA community – which is all of us!

The PTA help with activities in Elementary School, Middle School and High school

ES board game
ES bingo night
ES movie night
ES writing challenge
+ Many ES celebrations
Middle school Olympics
Middle school moving on party
MS novel writing challenge

HS extended essay gifts

Activities aided and facilitated by the ES MS and HS Coordinators (and parents too!)

We have activities embedded into the ISB calendar that are all part of ISB life!

 Intercultural Day
Staff appreciation

Not to forget the Intercultural Food Fair which is a full school Community event!

The PTA is proactive in getting parents connected to both the school and each other in many social endeavors.

Back to School Parents coffee
All of the efforts of the Welcome Wai and the Community Groups  plus parent socials/get-togethers

Every year money is put together for grants projects

These are projects where Students, Faculty and Members of our community are able to access funds to improve and enable projects that benefit all parts of the school both big and small.

It is our job as the PTA executive to enable as much activity and support to the ISB campus as our parents can muster. We thank all the parents who helped this happen.

Watch our PTA E-news as we message out more of the work we do!

It is so important to our vibrant, diverse community, that we reach out, collaborate and enable our Students to have the best learning environment to grow, develop and thrive.

Please have no doubt that the PTA is continually looking for new ways and means of keeping this school well ahead as a premier school – with a premier parent community!
