PTA Update

Dear ISB Community,

We would like to inform our ISB community of the recent updates in the PTA. Through review and reflection, the PTA team wishes to communicate transparently of our opportunities to volunteer for our teams and on our Executive Board.

We have received late resignations after the PTA AGM. Our bylaws stipulate certain steps that we should take when positions become available to avoid confusion in the community. We wish by doing this, we keep to the mission and values of the school, the purpose of the PTA, and look for the PTA to be open to all, both in opportunity to be on the executive and to participate in PTA activities.

The PTA team now has the following vacancies:

Intercultural Family Fair (IFF) Coordinator

Secretary

Touchstone

We are looking for volunteers to fill in the positions. The job descriptions are outlined in the PTA bylaws.

Please contact Yok Werojn and HOS (Head of School) at pta-president@isb.ac.th for sign up.

Following the update, we have our grants update as below:

The PTA executive has had an amazing year this year. Coming out of COVID days at the start of the year, and with many people new to ISB and the executive, it was a year of learning while working.

We are so happy to all the volunteers and support we have received from parents, faculty and the staff at ISB.

We, the PTA  executive, would just like to outline as many of the projects and activities that have been done with the money and time of our PTA community – which is all of us!

We help with activities in Elementary School, Middle School and High school

and each other in many social endeavors.

+Parent socials/get-togethers

Every year money is put together for grants projects

These are projects where Students, Faculty and Members of our community are able to access funds to improve and enable projects that benefit all parts of the school both big and small.

It is our job as the PTA executive to enable as much activity and support to the ISB campus as our parents can muster. We thank all the parents who helped this happen.

Watch our PTA E-news as we message out more of the work we do!

It is so important to our vibrant, diverse community, that we reach out, collaborate and enable our Students to have the best learning environment to grow, develop and thrive.

Please have no doubt that the PTA is continually looking for new ways and means of keeping this school well ahead as a premier school – with a premier parent community!
