Holiday Message from Head of School

Dear ISB Community,

How fortunate we have been to have our students and community back on campus for this semester. We are very grateful to everyone for helping us keep our campus and each other safe. It is a community effort, and the ISB community shines every time.

We really feel for our colleagues, family and friends around the world where in person school cannot take place. Each day we count our blessings that kids here can learn with their friends and teachers – and also take part in all of our usual activities. Significant thanks and appreciation should go to the Royal Thai Government and the Ministry of Public Health for handling the pandemic so well.

I know travel is limited and many of us are far away from our families during this holiday season, but we hope that it is still a time of rest, joy and positivity for our community.

That said, recent weeks have seen incidents of COVID-19 occurring in Thailand. Please pay attention to the news during this break while following good COVID practices – hand washing, proper mask wearing, social distancing and following up on any symptoms. We will stay in touch over the holidays should we need to share any updates or further information.

Once again, thank you for everything you have done for our students, our school and our community during this challenging time. This break is very well deserved and I hope you all have enjoyable, restful and safe holidays.

We look forward to seeing you all back on campus in January.

All the best,

Andy
