I wanted to pass along that Tonya and I are both hosting a conference in Tokyo in April 2020. It’s about harnessing children’s linguistic capacity for success in the Nonfiction Readers/Writers Workshop. NIS said they’d open a few more spots to participants. Of course we’ll anchor to inquiry and disciplinary literacy in our labsites, which seems right up ISB’s alley.
