FASHIONING THE WEARABLE TECHNOLOGY OF THE FUTURE MASTERCLASS
Fashioning the Wearable Technology of the Future Masterclass is a professional development program in which educators learn how to create fashionable clothes, garments, and accessories with computational functionality.
Learning Outcomes:
Participants will:

Explore the uses of sensors, LEDs strips and servo motors in e-textile and fashion design.

Develop an understanding of pattern making and circuit design as well as how they work together.

Use sewing, conductive thread, fabric, circuitry, and programming to develop a Wearable Technology prototype.
Note: No prior experience or expertise is required. Participants will need to have a laptop for some sessions.
Limited to a maximum of 20 participants.
