Hello Students and Families,

We are excited to resume learning at school every day.  We will continue to work together to follow all of the safety guidelines ISB has developed.  The class has been very helpful by wearing masks all the time and washing hands frequently.   At our class meeting on Friday, we discussed the possibility that virtual or hybrid learning could return and that we will be flexible and prepared for any situation.  Thank you for all of your support during virtual and hybrid school!

Students who will remain fully virtual:  As we shift to full time in person learning, lessons will not longer be shared via zoom each day.  Grade 2 has created an asynchronous program and Ms. Shannon Brown will contact you via email to schedule regular zoom times to check in and offer support throughout each week.  Please email her with questions or concerns: shannonb@isb.ac.th

Some quick announcements:

  • we have PE tomorrow and uniforms alternate each day
  • we will visit the library on Tuesday; remind your child to bring library books
  • water bottles should go to and from school each day
  • phones and phone watches will be kept in backpacks during the school day
  • students will continue having 3 choices for lunch each day…they no longer order in the morning, they have a look and choose when they arrive for lunch
  • grade levels still cannot mix, so play places will remain closed in the mornings.  A rotational schedule to allow access may be created soon.
  • after-school activities – This information was shared on Thursday. It’s important that students know what’s happening after school each day.
  • Birthdays-  If your child would like to celebrate his/her birthday at school, snacks need to be store-bought and individually wrapped. Students will then take home and eat them.

Please take some time today to gather materials to send back to school with your child.

Bring these things to school tomorrow:

  • I-pad – these will now stay at school

  • I-pad bag – kids will use these to take I-pads to other classes

  • stylus – let us know if it’s lost or broken

  • I-pad charger

  • white board

  • blue notebook

  • scissors
