Writing-Optional activity. Today you will listen to poems read with a poet’s voice, observe images created by poems and play with words, becoming more aware of how line breaks create sound and meaning for poems.
- Watch and listen to these to videos by the Poetry Foundation:
- Then go to the On-line Magnet Poetry website.
- Tap and drag the words to make a poem. You can add words by tapping “More words.” You can take a screenshot if you want to save your poem. You can “Save and Share” but ask a grown-up first.
Math–Today you will make play dough worms, measure them and learn how to show the difference with a tape diagram. Find the activity in Seesaw called Find the Difference between lengths of objects using playdough worms.
Safety-Find the Seesaw activity Safety in Our Home and complete it.
Mindfulness and Gratitude -Find the Seesaw activity Look and be Grateful to listen to a lovely story by one of our favorite authors, Tomie de Paola.
