This week we are finding ways to play and have fun at home. Use this padlet to find inspiration for play. You can also share your creative play ideas to this padlet.

Made with Padlet

Reading –  Watch this video, and then complete the activity in seesaw called What is Folklore?

Social Studies – Watch the brainpop video about fire drill and fire safety and complete the seesaw activity called Safety at ISB.

Optional Writing Activity: If you have started your wonder table, or wonder area, today is a day to add to that.

  • Go for a walk.  Choose one of your senses: seeing, hearing, smelling.  What do you notice around you?
  • Gather a few things that you see that spark your interest.  If you are using your hearing and smelling, write down what you notice around you.  Draw or paint what you think that smell or sound might be.

Optional Math Activity:  Watch this video and then complete the seesaw activity called estimating measures.

Optional Mindfulness and Meditation Activity
