Dear Families,
Tonight your second grader has taken home a family emergency plan. This is part of our unit on safety, and we ask that you develop this plan with your child and review it from time to time. We encourage you to:
- Post the plan somewhere in your home where it can be seen regularly.
- Photograph your child holding their finished plan and share it with us to celebrate!
Your child brought home a copy of the plan template in their take home folder, and you can access the document here as well.
Thanks so much, and be sure to ask your child what they have learned so far about safety at home, school, fire safety, water safety and lightning safety!
