Welcome back everyone! We trust you had a relaxing and restorative holiday break, and we very much look forward to hearing about the kids’ adventures tomorrow. A few notes regarding the next few weeks:
Small, matchbox cars needed
This week we begin a unit on science writing, and as part of that unit, students will be designing science experiments with ramps and small cars. If you can, please send your child to school Monday with a small matchbox car that they can use. If you don’t have one of these, no worries, we will have some in the classroom.
Recycled materials
We will soon wrap up our unit on Global Communities, and as part of that work students will be engaged in creating and constructing their own community using recycled materials. Throughout the week, please save any boxes or recycled materials and send them to school.
