Students incorporated skills from three areas into their books:
Writing: What can we learn from author, Donald Crews?
He uses:
-sound words
-dialog
-interesting words
-punctuation
-repetition
-helps readers understand by explaining more
-many illustration strategies
Art: What can we learn from local artist Adam Bernard?
-some artists do their artwork on i-pads or computers
-sometimes artists make their illustrations colorful
-artists zoom in a draw details
-artists draw backgrounds to make their illustrations more interesting
Technology: What skills did, Ms. Flemming, our technology coach teach us?

-how to export and import pictures in different apps
-how to use the app, brushes 3
