Dear 2EH Families,
We are pleased to confirm that Student Led Conferences are scheduled for April 3rd and 4th. Our approach to teaching and learning is intended to support our school’s core values and mission by empowering our students to be active participants in their education. It is important for students to think critically about their learning helping to become self-directed learners. One way in which we accomplish this goal is through student led conferences.
Your child’s scheduled appointment for their conference is listed at the bottom of this letter. Please make the necessary arrangements to ensure that your child attends the conference with you.
All families are encouraged to visit our specialist and support teachers’ classrooms for they are an integral part of each student’s education. Also, if you require a Korean or Chinese translator for your child’s conference please contact the Elementary School Office at extension 3301 or 3314, or by emailing our school secretary – rebecca.shieh@saschina.org.
If you have additional time or are waiting for another conference, you are welcome to read in the library, play on the playground, visit the school cafeteria, or purchase books at the book sale in the main hallway. Students are required to stay with their parents at all times while on campus.
Please note that there will be no school for students on Friday, April 4th.
