Non-Fiction Strategies

4EH has been working hard on previewing non-fiction texts, studying and understanding the ways they are organized, and having inner-conversations about what we read in non-fiction.  These strategies are fundamentally critical later for all students.  This is from the Harvard Library and outlines almost verbatim what 4th graders are asked to do when reading non-fiction texts.  I was encouraged by this as these strategies can be confusing and unclear.
