Thank you to all of the 4th grade parents who worked so hard to plan the fun Earth Day activities on Friday afternoon. The kids learned so much and enjoyed themselves. Below is some follow up information:
Earth Day Celebration, Friday, April 20
On Friday we celebrated Earth Day. Earth Day is a day that we can stop and think about our planet and what we can do to improve it. Parent volunteers organized a program for the students. We showed a video about plastic shopping bags. If you would like to view it, here is the link (you need a VPN to view Youtube videos)
We also did a Carbon Footprint survey. Just by living on this planet we impact it. See what your carbon footprint is by doing the survey:

Couple tips for taking care of “Mint Plant”
a) It’s perennial, and spring is perfect time to plant, you can grow outside or indoors. Outdoors plant will grow faster. b) Keep the soil moist and little sun shine is all it needs. c) It spreads like a weed if it’s in the soil.
d) It loses all its leave and then start sprouting. Don’t throw the plant if it looks dead.
f) Good garnish for lemonade, tea and other foods.
Together we can make a difference.
