In the world of technology, it is so easy to get caught up in what others are doing, to follow the trends, and conform to society’s ideals. Beauty standards and social media make it hard to look in the mirror and accept and love yourself for the way you truly are without a filter. I made this self-portrait as a reminder of who I am in real life; to capture my personality and entire identity. It is to honor myself as a person, flaws and all.
