Growing up scares me. In this self-portrait, I wanted to depict my wandering thoughts during the summer. Amid Covid-19 and all the restrictions we were under, I, like everyone else, was stressed out and upset that I could not capture all of my favourite memories in my last year of high school. Despite the fact that I will soon be moving on to the next chapter of my life, I am buried in my thoughts, reminiscing on all the memorable moments from my childhood. In this piece, I focused on building a relationship between light and shadows to vividly portray my confused emotions.
