I was playing around with my glasses one day when I realized how gross and crusty they were. I went to clean them when I thought about how awesome they could look in a painting, and the idea for this one was born. I wanted to show how I am still unsure of my future and I can’t see very far, just as I physically couldn’t with how dirty my glasses were. I used a semi-realistic, impressionist style to represent my still maturing view of the world. I also used bold color schemes and brush strokes.
