Aaron Schmidt has worked in animation, visual effects and illustration for more than fifteen years. His love of all things monster is inspired by such diverse sources as Ray Harryhausen, Ukiyo-e prints and pulp science fiction and fantasy covers from before he was born.

He has a Masters’s Degree in Visual Arts from Monash University. He lives with his wife and two children in Bangkok, Thailand.
