" I have two different pieces of artwork, both look similar, yet different at the same time. One of the two art pieces I made, ““Written Memento”, is mostly consisting of handmade and handwritten things. While the other, ““Typed Memento”, is mostly consisting of printed and typed things. I created ““Typed Memento” by printing the main piece of the art piece which is a picture of cards, after that I typed the title and the meaning of Memento Mori and how it related to cards. After that, I drew the 4 aces, hearts, diamonds, clubs, and spades and glued it around the main piece. For the other piece, I did the same thing just handwritten. ““Written Memento” and “Typed Memento” are both art pieces based around the concept of “Memento Mori”, the concept of remembering your mortality. I wanted to let people remember that the only thing certain in life was death and that we were all going to die, one way or another."
