    Dear Miss B and class,

Thank you to all the students who have left comments on the 2KM blog! We like hearing from new friends.

Miss, B – we done for attempting the Phuket triathlon, that would be very tough I’m sure!

It must be great living in such a warm climate. Where we live in Victoria, Australia it can get very cold. In fact, it is lunchtime now and we are inside because it is too rainy outside!

Do you have any Australian students in your class? Where are your students from?

    Best wishes,
    Miss McGeady

    Hi Miss B!

I remember doing this in 5th grade! It was fun reading other people’s blogs and finding out 7 things about everybody. Well, hope you have a great year with all your students!

Thanks, Sarah! It’s so nice to hear from you and see you occasionally in the halls. I hope your Gr.7 year is off to a great start.
I’m sure it has. Keep visiting our class blog!

    Dear Miss McGeady,

The triathalon hasn’t happened yet–it’s not until end of November. Keep your fingers crossed for me though, that I keep training hard! It’s a tough
battle to want to get out there and work out. It is lovely to be in such a warm climate all year, although I do miss the seasons of Canada! (Ok, maybe not winter as much!)
It is our rainy season right now, so it rains nearly every single day, mostly in late afternoons. Sometimes the storms get very violent!
We don’t have any Aussie students in our class, but one of the other Gr.5 teachers is from Australia! Our students are from the U.S., Korea, Canada, China, Germany, Thailand, Phillippines, Egypt, Holland and many more.
In your school, are all the students from Australia? We look forward to continued communication with you!
