Welcome art lovers of ISB! It is wonderful to have you this year in my class and I am looking forward to teaching everyone. We will be learning all sorts of techniques and processes in class and I am sure you will enjoy working with an assorted and wide variety of media. Materials such as wool, wood, paints, yarn, plaster, clay, plasticine and cardboard will all be part of our program.
In the meantime, enjoy these fun pictures from an artist called Hitoshi Ozaki!!!
Dear students and parents,
My name is Paz Molina. I come from Chile and I’ll be teaching visual art to grades 1, 3 and 5 this year. This is my first year at ISB and previous to this experience I worked in Malaysia for two years as a middle school art teacher. I have also worked at JIS and taught elementary art for three years. I am excited to join ISB, it is a great opportunity for me to learn and teach. I have been warmly welcomed into the ISB community and I look forward to introducing your children into the fabulous world of art!!
This year in visual arts we will look at different media and we will also explore many different techniques. I hope you like being creative and finding multiple solutions to the various activities that we will be experimenting with throughout this school year. I’m sure that we will have a fun and very productive year. Welcome to the Visual Arts program!
