On September 13, Seniors who are eligible to receive a Senior Gate Passes will be informed of this privilege. A Senior Gate Pass allows a senior to come and go from campus in any free block or at lunch.
Eligibility for the pass is based on a Grade 12 student completing the following criteria:
- Have all CAS requirements up to date.
- Not have had excessive amounts of MSH (<4).
- Not more than 4 absences in any one class at this point in the semester.
- Had no more than four tardies.
- Have turned in their draft EE (only for full IB students).
- Be in good behavioral standing.
If a student fulfills all the above criteria, one of the key steps to receive a Senior Gate Pass involves parents completing the Senior Gate Pass Authorisation form on Operoo via this link. Your Grade 12 child will need to sign this form together with you to be eligible to have the pass.
Please note that you can fill out the above form even if your child is not yet eligible, hence we are sending this form out early this year so that when your child has met the conditions for a Senior Gate Pass they can be granted this immediately. Once they have met the requirements their card will be activated to allow them to come on and off campus at any time during the school day.
