Our annual PE Celebration of Learning, Water Extravaganza is two weeks away – June 8 for grades KG, 2, 4 and June 9 for grades 1, 3, 5. Students will participate in the Water Extravaganza for a double block, so they will not be going to their other special on this day. Students will be outside participating in a variety of water themed games and activities (Grades 4 and 5 will also use the pools).
Students need a swim bag containing the following items:
- Swimsuit or other “water clothes” (Since Grades 4 and 5 students have PE first thing in the morning, they should come to school wearing their swimsuits under PE clothes)
- A change of clothes – students must change out of their wet clothes when finished, except students in Grades 2 and 3 if they are going home right after school, and not taking a bus
- Towel
- Shoes – we recommend students wear sandals/crocs/water shoes to this event
- Water bottle – students will be active and need to stay hydrated
- Sunscreen – a face stick would be great and easy for students to use
