Staying Safe in the Heat and Health Center Update

We hope all of our families had a cool break, but as we know temperatures are on the rise in Thailand.  This is a great time for families to remind their students to stay hydrated throughout the day.  Our youngest panthers should be drinking up to around 4 cups of water a day while high school students should reach upwards of 9 or more.  Please consider equipping your students with hats and/or sunscreen to use during their time outdoors and review signs of exhaustion and dehydration with them.  Spare water bottles are readily available, so please reach out if your child forgets it during the day.  If you need any other information, feel free to reach out to our Health Center.

Air Quality

Although we’ve had some break from PM2.5, in recent days pollution has returned.  If your child is sensitive, you may reach out to us to assist with what accommodations can be made if your child is considered sensitive to poor air quality.

Returning Medical Forms

Medical forms for those returning in Grades 3, 6, and 9 are available under the Health Services tab on ISB’s newly launched website.  Please complete these before the end of July.  Packages are available at Bumrungrad Hospital, Bangkok Hospital, MedPark, and World Medical Center among others.  Waivers are eligible for newly enrolled students who joined ISB within the past 12 months.
