ISB will celebrate World Down Syndrome Day next week on Tuesday, March 21st. It’s a day where we all “Rock Our Socks” to raise awareness and acceptance. Everyone is invited to wear bright, colorful, or mismatched socks! Why socks? They are the shape of chromosomes, and Down syndrome occurs when a person has 3 copies of the 21st chromosome. Check out this short video to learn more about World Down Syndrome Day and get your socks ready for next Tuesday!
