Dear Parents (and students) of the 2023 graduating class:
As our senior students prepare for their mock exams and move closer to the end of their coursework, we wanted to share an update about some important dates and events leading up to graduation in May. Please be sure to add these dates/events to your calendar.
We will send another bulletin just prior to the Songkran break that will contain more detailed information about the graduation schedule and how to register for graduation tickets etc.
Tuesday, April 25
Last day of IB Classes for Seniors who have three or more IB/AP examinations.
Friday, April 28
IB/AP Exams begin (students can access their own individual IB Exam schedule on PowerSchool)
Tuesday, May 16
Last day of non-IB classes for remaining seniors
Saturday, May 20
Golf Cart Parade (8.45 am) Meet at Panther at 8.30 am
Saturday, May 20
6:30 – 10:30 pm – Prom
Seniors are invited to join this once-in-a-lifetime event and to celebrate their accomplishments at the Eastin Grand Hotel Sathorn Bangkok. Tickets will be available as early as late March.
Tuesday, May 23
Senior Appreciation Day for students 12-4 pm (Student council will provide more details later)
Wednesday, May 24
6:30 pm – Awards night presentations in CC Theatre (Award winners will be invited to attend)
Thursday, May 25 (times to be confirmed)
8.00-9.00 am Senior Breakfast – MPB1/2
9.10 -9.20 am Senior Parade through ES/MS and HS (Parents are invited to watch the parade)
9:25 am – Meet in CCT – College Counselors/Alumni and HS Admin
11:00 am – Graduation Rehearsal – Rajendra hall (until 1.15 pm)
*Student Clearance forms are due this day
Friday, May 26
8.30 am – 9.00 am Thai PTA Senior Appreciation – MPB
10:00 am – 12.15 pm Graduation rehearsal and presentation of PTA senior gift- Rajendra Hall
Saturday, May 27
12:45 pm- Graduands must be in Chevron Theatre by this time
1:30 pm – Rajendra Hall will be open for seating (allocated).
2:00 pm – Ceremony begins
Allocated seating for the ceremony
All families of graduates will need to register to reserve seats for immediate family attending (there will be a maximum of four family members per graduate). If you only need one, two, or three seats please designate that at the time of registration. We will allocate seats for attendees and family members on a random basis
If graduates wish to have more than 4 members attend the ceremony you can request an additional seat for the extra guest, but we may not be able to accommodate that request due to the maximum numbers permitted in the Rajendra. If we do have space for additional guests, they will be seated toward the back of the Rajendra as we will prioritize seats for family members.
Registration details will be provided in the mid-April graduation bulletin. Tickets will be allocated randomly so you do not need to be the first to register.
Family Portraits
We will be providing details in the next bulletin for families to book a family portrait with FirstPix photographers on campus on the afternoon of Friday 26 of May and in the morning on Saturday, May 27. Parents will be able to sign up for a time slot when we send out the mid-April graduation bulletin.
Graduation Photo
Professional photographers arranged by ISB will be covering the whole ceremony taking pictures while your graduate receives their diploma. We suggest you sit back and let them take the stress! Official photos will be available in the HS Office from June 12th. There is no charge for these photos. Personal professional photographers will not be permitted to enter the Rajendra.

A Facebook page has been created for the parents of this year’s high school seniors. ‘ISB Parents – Graduating Class of 2023’, is a Facebook page created to share pictures, stories and provide information on upcoming events related to the graduating class of 2023.
