Did you know that NASA consults with some of the top origami experts in the world? Come to the Invention Center on Saturday, March 4th from 9:00 to 10:00, 10::00 to 11:00, or 11:00 to 12:00 to find out why. Then build your own origami model developed for NASA’s proposed future ‘Starshade Mission’ to detect and study exoplanets. There will be 4 spots available at each time slot. This is a free project available to any elementary, middle, or high school aged students, parents, or staff (note elementary students will need assistance). Contact Travis Dynes at travisd@isb.ac.th to sign up for the 9:00, 10:00, or 11:00 time slot.
A reminder that the Invention Center is open to students, parents, and staff every day after school until 6pm and on Saturdays from 8am-2pm (elementary students need to have a parent present for supervision).
