by Kerry Dyke, MS Service Coordinator
iCARE THAILAND is dedicated to helping those in need in very rural and isolated parts of Thailand. This week they delivered 1000 blankets, 1000 jackets, 500 toys, 50 bikes. Most importantly, 7 new students will go to school for the first time in their lives (see photos).
They have more areas to service and are asking ISB to help. Through our MS Advisory groups we are asking students to kindly consider participating in the season of giving.
iCare is looking for:
- School bags & school supplies (used or new)
- warm clothes & blankets (used or new)
- toys, stuffed animals, & books. (used or new)
- food (rice, noodles, UHT milk, eggs)
We hope students can find a way to help. Remember items do not have to be new. Perhaps it is clothing they no longer wear or a toy from their past that is still in good condition.
Students can bring items to their advisory class next week. iCARE will pick up on Friday, December 9.
Thank you
