Cub Scouts: Raising and Lowering Flags in ISB

During Intercultural week, the Arrow of Light (Grade 5) from Pack 701 learned about how the ISB Security team raises and lowers the three flags at the flag poles near the main entrance. In fact, there is a schedule of rotation for the country flags to showcase flags from around the world! Our Cubs learned about how to fold and respect flags from other countries. This was a valuable experience for the Cubs, and on behalf of Pack 701 is very thankful to Khun Ratthavit and the ISB security team for making this happen.

Pack 701 relies on parent volunteers to have a successful Cub Scout program. Volunteering allows the parents to experience scouting in a new way as a family. We are currently looking for a Grade 2 parent volunteer to help lead the Wolf Den. If anyone is interested, please reach out to Cubmaster Jamie Hawk (panthercubscouts@isb.ac.th). Any interested parents are also welcome to visit the Bear (G3), Webelos (G4) or Arrow of Light (G5) Den meetings to get a better understanding of Den activities and talk with other Cub Scouts parents.
