APEC Summit
Based on conversations with government officials, we have a high level of confidence that ISB will remain open as usual during the APEC Economic Leaders’ Summit that takes place in Bangkok from 16-18 November 2022.
We are working on the assumption that ISB will be open and we will only communicate again should this not be possible.
A reminder that in support of the government’s efforts to reduce traffic, we request parent, student and staff cooperation through measures such as car pooling, taking public transportation, or walking/riding to school (if feasible).
Request for Parents to avoid the MS/HS Cafeteria during student lunch times
As COVID restrictions lift, we are happy that our campus is becoming more open and that parents have had greater access again.
However, as we are no longer using the tent and have returned to normal seating in the cafeteria, there is now limited space for MS & HS students to eat lunch.
We kindly ask that parents avoid the MS/HS cafeteria from 10:30am to 12:00pm so that we have sufficient seating for students to have lunch.
2023-2024 School Calendar
The Board of Trustees approved the academic calendar for the 23-24 school year earlier this week. We will publish the full calendar on the ISB website soon. The key dates are as follows:
- August 9, 2023 – First day of school for students
- October break dates to be confirmed when IASAS calendar is finalized
- December 18-January 5, 2024 – December Break
- February 26-March 1 – February Break
- June 13 – Last day of school
