Seniors applying Early Action/Early Decision finished applications and submitted those by 1 November. The next deadlines will be 15 November for other Early Action and Early Decision applications and the University of Washington. That date is also the deadline for all Transcript Requests for all applications with a deadline before 15 February.
30 November is the deadline for applications to the University of California and California State institutions, and then 1 December for all students applying to the UK through UCAS. Please encourage your child to submit well before any deadline. Just a reminder that all essays and applications must be reviewed by the counselor before being submitted to that university. This is a necessary step to ensure that all students are submitting the best, most polished application as possible.
The next Senior Seminar will be on 8 November. Students will review information about Thai university applications and have time to work on essays and applications. For those not applying to university right now, they will have time to do research about the universities to which they will be applying in the second semester.

News from School Counselors
Jackie Valenauela

High school students took the Strengths & Difficulties Questionnaire (SDQ) in advisory on Tuesday. The vast majority of students indicated they are doing well socially/emotionally overall. The counselors have met with each student who indicated they were facing social/emotional challenges. Parents have been notified already if their student is in need of extra support.
The counselors (Shannon Leoni, Frank Sambula Jr. and Jackie Valenzuela) are here to partner with you and your child as they navigate the highs and lows of adolescence. Please reach out anytime if you want to meet to discuss your child’s wellbeing.
