LOL! As always, there was “Lots of Learning” happening throughout the ES this week for kids…and adults! Parents engaged in learning via a new book club that Ms. Manu launched on Wednesday morning; about 20 parents joined the discussion on the book “Permission to Feel” by Marc Brackett. It was an impressive week of learning in classrooms as well. Students engaged in Peace Day activities, read alouds and reflections. Across many grade levels, students were working on their writing craft and publishing their final writing pieces. And we ended the week by having our PreK-Grade 12 faculty members who are vertical team leaders participate in a professional learning workshop for ISB learning leaders! LOL, indeed!
