School Opening Hours and Visitor Access

ISB is an open campus and, as we are relaxing some of the COVID-19 safety measures, we are excited to make our facilities available again to the ISB community. Please be reminded of the following timetables and expectations for students and adults while on campus.

Regular School Hours
Pre-Kindergarten: 7:35am – 1:10pm
Elementary School: 7:35am – 2:25pm (1:10pm on ERD*)
Middle School: 7:40am – 2:45pm (1:10 on ERD*)
High School**: 7:50am – 2:50pm (1:20 on ERD*)

* ERD – Early Release Day
**IB HL classes start at 7:20am

Campus Opening Times
Mon-Fri: 7:00am – 8:00pm
Sat/Sun/Holidays: 7:00am – 6:00pm

  • The campus will be closed on 25 Dec – 3 Jan and 13-16 April.
  • A valid ISB ID card is needed to access campus.
  • Campus Opening Times will be adjusted when events run outside opening hours.
  • During regular school hours parents can access the MS/HS Cafeteria, Panther Den, Bookstore, PTA Lounge, MS/HS Library, Offices, patios and resting areas.
  • During regular school hours, parents may not enter learning spaces such as classrooms (including adjoining quads), arts and athletics facilities, the ES cafeteria and the ES Library without an appointment.

ES/MS/HS Offices 7:15am – 4:00pm
Panther Den 7:15am – 4:00pm
Athletics Office 7:15am – 4:00pm
Business Office 7:00am – 3:00pm
Bookstore 7:00am – 2:45pm
Booster Hut Mon-Th 10:30am – 2:30pm  Fri: 10:30am-3:30pm

Supervision
Parents should be aware that no direct adult supervision is provided for students outside of regular school hours and school sponsored activities. Access to campus is at own risk.

Any ES Student on campus outside regular school hours who is not participating in a school sponsored event, must be actively supervised by an adult in charge appointed by the family. 

If not part of a school sponsored event, MS/HS students may remain on campus outside of school hours and on weekends in the following designated spaces : Sky Park, Parkour Park, MS/HS cafeteria, MS/HS Library, Auxi gym, Fitness Center (only for HS students who have filled-out the fitness center agreement), track and fields and tennis courts (unless these spaces are being used for school sponsored activities). Swimming pools, air conditioned gyms, classrooms and other facilities are not open to students. Students will be asked by our security staff to leave campus if they are outside of the designated areas or if they engage in inappropriate behavior.

  • Sarawan Ville Gate

Except during school holidays, a school nurse is on campus until 8pm on weekdays and at certain weekend hours when events are scheduled.

Parent Access during Panther Activities
During afternoon activity hours, parents and other adults in charge are permitted in designated observation areas on campus. 

Please help maintain a safe and independent environment for all of our Panther Activities participants by avoiding the grade level quads and learning spaces where activities are being held unless invited by the instructor to do so. If you need to see your child before an activity begins, please meet them briefly at their activity. At the end of the activity, you can either pick up directly or from the ES cafeteria which will be open for parents during afternoon activity hours.

ES Library

  • The ES Library is open for students Monday-Friday, 7:00am – 3:40pm.
  • ES students need to be accompanied by a parent/caregiver after 2:30pm.
  • Parents can check-out books from 2:30pm – 3:40pm.

MS/HS Library
Students and parents are welcome to check-out books in the MS/HS Library during opening times:
Mon-Thu 7:00am – 5:00pm
Fri 7:00am – 4:30pm
Sat 10:00am – 2:00pm (starting mid-September)

Parent Use of School Facilities
Parents can access school facilities such as Tennis courts, Fitness Center, Auxi gym, Track and Fields at the following times, unless they are being used for school sponsored activities:
Mon-Fri: 5:00pm – 8:00pm
Sat/Sun/Holidays: 7:00am – 6:00pm
(the fitness center is currently open on 8:00 – 12:00 on Saturdays and closed on Sundays/Holidays)

Tennis courts can be booked by contacting K. Mint at panthertennis@isb.ac.th
Fitness center access will require completing a fitness center agreement.

Certain facilities such as swimming pools, climbing wall, air conditioned gyms, Invention Center, Maker Space, Cultural Center, theaters and other learning spaces can only be used by parents for approved organized activities. If you would like to organize an activity for adults, please contact for athletics, Chris Mott at chrism@isb.ac.th, and for Arts and Activities, Anthony Giles at anthonyg@isb.ac.th.

Golf Center
The ISB Golf Center is located in the Nichada Breezeway (by the 7-Eleven parking lot) and is open for members. Special membership rates are available for ISB community members with an ISB ID card. More information can be found on the golf center website. Opening times are:
Mon-Fri 9:00am-8:00pm
Sat/Sun/Holidays 8:00am-8:00pm

Visitors (Non ISB community members)
Visitors can enter campus using the front main gate and are required to fill-out a visitor registration form, and exchange ID to receive a visitor sticker with a QR code that allows for turnstile entry and exit for the day.

COVID-19 measures
As of 3 September, a negative ATK is no longer required for campus access. However, for the time being, everyone entering campus is still required to submit a COVID-19 declaration form. For students/parents/helpers/staff/associates with an ISB ID card, the self-declaration form can be submitted via the “COVID Declaration link”. Every Sunday evening, the previous submission is wiped clean and a new submission is required for campus entry.

Visitors without an ISB ID card will be required to fill-out a COVID-19 declaration form every time they enter campus.
