ISB Update: 16 June 2022

Dear ISB Community,

Update of COVID-19 Cases

We are aware of 20 students (7 ES, 4 MS, 9 HS) and 3 staff members who have reported testing positive on ATK or PCR tests since Sunday 12th June. Contact tracing has been completed and the school has followed up with the parents of students considered high risk close contacts.

Covid-19 Safety Precautions for 2022/23

At this time, we are awaiting new government guidance – anticipated to come at the beginning of July. We will also be monitoring Ministry of Education regulations with respect to national schools in the coming weeks.

Our Covid Response Team will be in communication over the summer and we will be in touch again with the ISB community at the beginning of August with respect to the updating  of Covid safety measures for the first semester of the 2022/23 school year.

We continue to encourage community members and students to consider vaccination and boosters when appropriate.  At this time, the US CDC recommends all age groups currently eligible for vaccines to receive one booster at six months.  Those in higher risk groups are recommended an additional booster five to six months from the first one.

We are very grateful for all of your support this school year as we navigated the third year of the pandemic.

If anyone has questions, please reach out to any of us listed below.

All the best,

Andy
