ISB Update: 9 June 2022

Dear ISB Community,

Update of COVID-19 Cases

We are aware of 12 students (5 ES, 4 MS, 3 HS) and 8 staff members (6 in ES) who have reported testing positive on ATK or PCR tests since Sunday 5th June. Contact tracing has been completed and the school has followed up with the parents of students considered high risk close contacts.

If you are a high risk close contact

Students considered high risk contacts should exercise precautions such as continued isolation from the positive case, wearing masks, maintaining appropriate distance, and avoiding social gatherings where mask use is minimized.  As we learn to live with Covid-19, it is important to understand that the impact on families will vary and for some can lead to a significant health concern.

We encourage caution and careful consideration as clusters of cases have been linked to off-campus end of year celebrations.  If you or your child feel unwell for whatever reason, even if testing negative, refraining from gatherings may prevent undue impact on friends and others in the community.

Our most up to date Covid-19 Matrix can be found here which corresponds to our current practice.

If anyone has questions, please reach out to any of us listed below.

All the best,

Andy
