Hi Everyone,
Exciting times for everyone this week as our Gr 9-11 students start their exam period on Monday and of course on Saturday May 28th our Seniors (the class of 2022) will be graduating from High School. This is a special day for our Seniors (and their parents) and it will be the first time in three years that we can hold a full graduation with an audience in attendance. We still have some restrictions to follow, but family members will be able to attend and to watch the ceremony live.
The celebrations are not just for our seniors though as the whole community can also join in. You will have seen the fantastic ES artwork on the front gate where our youngest artists have drawn wonderful portraits of our Seniors that are now on display. Additionally the ‘Senior Wall of Fame’ is now hanging up on the fence outside the Danicha housing compound where you too can walk along and see wonderful photos of our Seniors. Thank you to our wonderful senior parent group for organising and hanging the Senior Wall of Fame and thank you to our wonderful ES Artists and their ES Art teachers for the fantastic and colorful portraits at our front gate.
To kick off graduation week, you can join us at the 3rd Annual Golf Cart Parade which starts at 9am in the school car parks. Nichada and ISB community members are invited to join us (on the side of the streets) to cheer our seniors on as they drive around Nichada. You can see the route and timings by clicking on this MAP.
