Once again, thank you and congratulations go out to all of our ES students who have graciously shared their pieces of art with the entire community via the Over “knot” Under Exhibit currently on display throughout the elementary school! Students have been thinking beyond the more traditional media in the world of art via their exploration into Textile Art!
This morning (Friday, March 18) our grade 5 students gathered to celebrate their Moko Moko installation in the Grade 5 quad! All grade 5 students participated in the Moko Moko inspired “clouds” installation; Artist Misaki Kawai, known for her giant fluffy sculptures and an infectious playful aesthetic, was the inspiration for this exhibit.
Many other pieces of art are on exhibit throughout the ISB campus. Check out more details about the ES exhibits including details about the work of each grade level in the OVER ‘knot’ UNDER Exhibit Brochure and Map.
