Supplies of ATKs

In early December, ISB distributed ATKs to families for each student. The calculation of supplies was based on their use only at the scheduled and required ISB times. For the week of January 17-21, we required daily ATK testing which used 3 tests per child more than our original count.

As such, by our calculation, each student should have enough ATKs for Sunday and Wednesday testing to last until the Feb. 20th test, following the February break (we do not require testing during the breaks), before school restarts. This includes (Jan 30, Feb 2, Feb 6, Feb 9, Feb 20).

If ATK’s provided by the school are used by families for additional testing purposes then we ask for you to replenish them yourself by purchasing ATK’s from a pharmacy (Abbott or similar).

As shared in a recent message from Dr. Davies, our recent review of neighboring pharmacies is that most have ATKs still available for sale.

The next distribution of ATKs for students will take place during the week of Feb 7-11, ahead of the break.

Yearbook photos Make-up Days

Monday and Tuesday will be photo make up day for MS students. New students this semester will have their photos taken for the yearbooks and parents will be able to order the photos.

For parents of students who had their photos taken last semester, but would like them redone, students can visit the backstage area of the Chevron theater to get new ones taken on Monday (31st January) or Tuesday (1st February).

For more information, please contact Khun Nan at phremjiz@isb.ac.th

10 Ways to Survive the Zombie Apocalypse

The Middle School Drama Dept. is announcing a hilarious new play for the Spring Production in May: “10 Ways to Survive the Zombie Apocalypse”, and all Middle Schoolers are invited to join in if they’re interested as Cast (acting in major or minor roles) and/or Crew (Backstage support with props & set making, costume & makeup, and lights & sound tech.)

This play is sure-fire fun and pure comedy. It presents our Host with a message to his audience– we must prepare for zombies! With help from a clueless co-star who seems to have wandered over from an awards show, both Hosts present a series of “Case Studies” about how to survive against a future zombie apocalypse. Helping them out are 4 “Survivors,” who repeat their battles against the zombies for each “Way” to survive. Let’s hope they can make it all the way to the end!

MS Drama would like to welcome ALL interested Middle Schoolers (grade 6 – 8) to try out to be a part. The first step is to come to one of the two Audition & Sign Up Meetings that are happening Tuesday & Wednesday, February 8 & 9, afterschool from 2:45 to 4:15. Students can find all the information on this Google doc with links in Good Morning Middle School. For any other questions you can contact Danny Wall, MS Drama teacher, at dannyw@isb.ac.th.

We are anticipating a great production and are including all safety protocols to ensure everyone can both have fun and be safe, too!
