The ISB Chess Club achieved a very pleasing third place finish in the recent IASAS Chess competition; the best result seen in years. The fact the club itself continues to grow and attract new members every week, alongside having a young squad the future of chess at ISB looks very bright indeed. Star performers on the day were Friend and Hyunmin with four out of five wins each. Jonathan, Nicholas and Hyunmin should be very proud of their leadership efforts – it is because of them we can show off our bronze medal with honor.
