Help from home – maintaining safety measures

We have had a positive return to campus this week. Students and staff have been very mindful of our safety measures and mask wearing has been overwhelming well done and maintained. Students have shared with us through our leadership roundtables that they are monitoring each other quite well and reminding their peers to follow the expectations. This is a terrific development as we are most successful when students are on board with the expectations and as such monitor their own adherence to them.

Of course, we also know that the longer we are open and on campus, the more comfortable everyone becomes. This is when people can start to become more relaxed or forgetful about expectations and guidelines.

Please continue to reiterate at home that mask wearing both protects the student and protects each other. With our actions, each of us model that following the guidelines is important and remains so. Thank you for continuing to have these important conversations at home. They help us continue to keep learning on campus and maintain as many of our programs as possible.
