Updates from the Aetna Family Clinic Re: US Holiday Travel Requirements

In accordance with the new regulations by the CDC for travel to the United States (US), the Aetna Family Clinic (AFC) is pleased to inform the community about the following changes listed below. 

The US entry now requires proof of a negative COVID-19 test for all international travelers.  A COVID-19 viral test (regardless of vaccination status or citizenship) must be done no more than 1 day from departure.  

To help the Aetna Family Clinic process bookings, the AFC would like to request the following information for those registered with them to undergo testing:

–          Full name

–          Copy of passport

–          Contact number

–          Email address

–          Flight date and time

–         Destination country

–          Airline

–          Test type (ATK/RT-PCR)

–          Your preferred date and time for your test appointment

Passport attachment is preferred 
and is requested to be emailed to

At the moment there are a high number of bookings between 15th -17th December, 2021.  Thus, in an effort to expedite the process on the day of testing, the AFC recommends pre-submission of the above information in addition to pre-payment for the test, ideally before the 14th of December.

For prepaid customers (on the day of your appointment), AFC will require a questionnaire, your receipt, and passport for ID verification. 

Price List: RT-PCR 2,500 baht
                  ATK          750 baht

Your COVID-19 results will return depending on time of sampling:

*at 5PM for tests done before 10:30AM
*at 10AM the next day for tests done before 4:30PM

*In case of rare inconclusive test results, the AFC will inform you and assist in finding a solution as soon as possible

For new appointments (especially for the 15th-17th) the AFC will try to accommodate prepaid customers as best they can.  

*Please check and confirm the test requirement from your airline, as the Aetna Family Clinic cannot be held responsible for incorrect tests selected by the consumer.  

All new customer appointments will be advised to pre-pay.
