Dear ISB Community,
Campus Reopening Update
On Tuesday evening, an ISB parent contacted us about a positive ATK test for a HS student. The parents immediately took their child to Bumrungrad Hospital for a follow up PCR test.
Contact tracing took place and one potential high risk close contact in the student body was asked to remain home to wait for the results of the PCR test.
The PCR test result was negative and both students are able to return to school. With ATK testing, we do expect some false positive results.
We are very grateful to the family for being so proactive in following the correct procedures.
ATK Testing – Important
The next ATK must be administered on Sunday 17th October between 4:00pm and 8:00pm – with results uploaded on the ATK Form within that same timeframe. If you need assistance with the ATK Form, please write to help@isb.ac.th
All test results must be entered into the ATK Form within the specified times in order to ensure campus access the following day. The ATK Form is linked to the ID cards and ISB turnstiles system.
Information for after October Break
After October Break we will continue with the current class schedule/ rotations for at least two weeks. We are exploring the potential to open to 100% of students on a daily basis from Monday 1st November, depending on external conditions. We will communicate again when we know more.
We hope that conditions are such that we can begin offering some athletics and activities to students within their cohorts after school and on Saturdays, beginning Monday 18th October. More details to come from the Athletics and Activities offices.
Important – the ATK testing schedule after October Break, starting October 17th, will change to Sundays and Wednesdays to take into account Saturday activities.
Astrazeneca Booster Opportunity
World Medical Center is offering an AstraZeneca booster shot to those ISB community members (parents & household employees) that received either the Sinovac or Sinopharm vaccines previously. The tentative dates are October 14 & 15. Please complete this form by 11:30am, Friday 8th October.
