Dear Parents
We have just enjoyed a great week of learning and activities with our students with season one athletics starting and clubs and other activities also up and running. You will have read positive signs about the re-opening of schools in the past few days and we are looking forward to getting students back on campus sooner rather than later. In the meantime, virtual school continues and our teachers (and students) are working diligently to stay on top of their learning at this time.
The HS Open house takes place this coming week on Tuesday, September 7th starting at 6pm. We will send an individual email to each family on Monday that will contain the schedule of class times and the zoom links for your child’s teachers so that you can join the right classes at the right time. There will also be an ‘explainer’ video included in that email to help you log in correctly etc.
You will have an opportunity to meet the teacher, learn a little about the curriculum and assessment for each course and also some of the highlights for each course. With each session only being 10 minutes long, the Open house presentations are not designed for parents to ask questions about their child’s current progress etc. If you do have questions, please reach out to the teachers directly to arrange another time to talk.
