The Senior Family University Night was on Wednesday. Thank you to all students and parents who attended. For those who were unable to attend or if you would like to review the presentation, please find the recording and the powerpoint here. Senior Family Conferences are underway and should be scheduled by each family before the end of September. Just a reminder that students should complete the Senior Questionnaire as soon as possible for their university counselor. The next Senior Seminar will be on Monday 13 September.

For all grade levels, the annual Greater Bangkok University International Fair will take place on 13-16 September 2021. Students and parents will be welcomed to online university fairs on Monday (13 September), Tuesday (14 September), and Wednesday (15 September). There are nearly 200 universities from around the world registered for the fairs!  A link to join the fairs each evening will be shared closer to the time of the event and it should be noted that no prior registration is required for this university fairs (Monday-Wednesday) or the UK Universities Admissions Panel on Thursday night.  The tentative list of universities on the panel includes: Durham University, King’s College London, New College of the Humanities, University of Manchester, University of Bath, University of Bristol, University of Cambridge, University of Edinburgh, University of St Andrews and University of Warwick.

On Thursday, 16 September there will be two events:  UK University Admissions Panel and US Case Study Session.  For the U.S. Case Studies session advanced registration is required. In this session, university representatives will lead parents and students through the process of a mock admission committee. The exercise will point out the intricacies of the college application process and the importance of assembling a strong university application. The US Case Study program will conclude with a panel discussion. Although all are welcome to sign up for the specific US Case Studies event, Grade 12 parents and students, then Grade 11 parents and students, will be prioritized due to limited capacity and parents and students will need to be assigned to separate rooms. Registration for the US Case Studies Event is located here. If interested, please be sure to sign up no later than Wednesday, September 8, 2021.

Be sure to check the Virtual University Visit list for university visits that are scheduled exclusively for ISB students and parents. In addition, there are many virtual events available for any students interested in gaining more information about particular institutions.  Be sure to check the Virtual University Visits list on the ISB University/College Counseling website.
