Welcome to the 2021/22 School Year!
We are really looking forward to welcoming students to the 2021/22 school year this coming Monday. Although on campus learning is preferable for us all, we will do our very best to provide high quality learning through Virtual School, develop enjoyable connections between students and their teachers, and look after the social/emotional needs of our students.
Each division has communicated their plans for Virtual School and if you have any questions please reach out to the respective principal.
Virtual School/On Campus Learning
We understand that it is helpful to our community to have as much clarity as possible during these uncertain times and we will try to provide sufficient notice of any changes to virtual school provision or a return to on campus learning.
On the recommendation of the Leadership Team, the Board of Trustees has approved the delivery of Virtual School until at least Monday 13th September. Given the current situation, we do not anticipate that government permission will be provided for on campus learning before this date – and possibly some weeks after.
Should we be able to return to on-campus learning, we will continue to provide the option for students to learn virtually until at least the end of the first semester. Virtual learning in this case will look different from Virtual School and we will work together with families to ensure that learners who cannot be on campus continue to make learning progress asynchronously along with teacher connections and support.
We continue to work with government agencies to find ways for international schools to be able to open in a safe manner for on campus learning for students.
