Keeping the focus

by Dennis Harter, MS Principal
dennish@isb.ac.th

As our time in Virtual School extends, it is a good time to ensure that students are finding ways to take breaks, re-energize themselves, and find balance. In addition to just helping them stay healthy and well, this will also help them keep their focus and engagement for the final push to the end of the year.

We appreciate the dedication students have shown to their learning so far and understand that maintaining isn’t easy. We encourage families to find ways for their children to be off of screens, engaging with each other in the household or your safe “bubble”, and getting up and moving. All of these will contribute to recharge students’ energy and help them stay focused in their classwork and assessments to close out the year.

If we are able to return to campus, we will look for ways we can do the same, here at school.

Ensuring accurate contact information

by Chad Bates, I.T. Director

With the recent announcement that the ISB Board Elections will be held through electronic voting, we want to ensure the contact information we have is accurate (in particular parent email addresses). Please take some time to login to the ISB Parent Portal, and click “Personal Information Update” (left hand menu), to check the details, and update if necessary.

If you are having trouble accessing your Parent Portal please write to help@isb.ac.th.

If you are leaving ISB

We know that this time of year means that some students are leaving ISB for new adventures and schools. In order to best support this transition, it is helpful for us to know this as soon as possible.

Families who are leaving ISB at the end of the school year are asked to inform the school using the forms located in the ISB Parent Portal. This helps us prepare school records for your child and with planning for next year and ensure they are ready in time for the end of the year.

If your MS child(ren) is/are withdrawing from ISB, please email Khun Namwan in the MS Counseling Office at sariyam@isb.ac.th
