Change of order of classes in Virtual School

As you will have seen from other ISB communication, we will remain in Virtual School for the coming weeks. A specific return date has not been given yet.

Therefore, after several weeks of Virtual School this semester, the middle and high schools will be adjusting the order of class periods in order to provide a balanced learning experience for students. Starting on Monday, May 3rd, we will follow the order of classes from a Day 5 and Day 6, instead of the Day 1 and 2 orders we’ve been using up to now.

This move allows the classes that have been meeting after lunch to meet in the mornings, and vice versa. Students have also been informed of this change throughout the last week, through the Good Morning MS news emails.

Advisory will still take place on Mondays and Thursdays. On Fridays we will offer an optional fun community opportunity for students.

Please note that May 4th is a school holiday, so Wednesday, May 5th will follow a Day 6 order of classes.

Tuesday, May 4th – No School

ISB joins Thailand on Tuesday, May 4th in recognizing Coronation Day. There will be no school on this day.

  • Monday, May 3rd – Day 5 order of classes (see other post)
  • Tuesday, May 4th – NO SCHOOL
  • Wednesday, May 5th – Day 6 order of classes
  • Thursday, May 6th – Day 5 order of classes
  • Friday, May 7th – Day 6 order of classes

Early Departures from Bangkok

Parents who plan to leave BKK or Thailand prior to June 11th are asked to contact Mr. Dennis Harter, MS Principal, to share details.

Please note that when virtual school ends and classes resume on campus, ongoing learning for students who don’t return to campus will continue in the form of asynchronous learning tasks and assignments. Teachers will post work assignments on PowerSchool Learning.
