ES e-News for April 30, 2021

Weekly Message From Principal Allen

Thank you goes out to our ES parents for connecting with our teachers this past week and sharing feedback regarding your child’s virtual school experience!  These home-school connections are a great opportunity for teachers and parents to work together to problem-solve any issues that might be coming up during virtual school, and allows us to collect feedback that may inform future virtual school enhancements.  Teachers are documenting your feedback, and next week I’ll share some trends from the feedback you provided.

Jeff, Sarah and I have been having so much fun connecting with students in preparation for our Monday ES virtual school videos as well as during the Woot Woot Wednesday community events!  Did you get a chance to see Monday’s ES virtual school community video?  If not, check it out here as we showcase the ES students’ healthy snacks!

Thank you again for your support and partnership during virtual school.  Please continue to reach out with your questions and challenges at any time as we’ve got a great team eager to support you and your family.

Your partner in education,
Michael Allen, Ed.D.

(Repeat) PARENT ACTION REQUIRED: Student Tracking Locations

Even during VS, all ES parents are required to login to Powerschool and update their journal for the week, listing locations visited outside school hours.  All schools in Thailand are required by the Ministry of Education to have their students/parents keep and complete a daily journal of their whereabouts after school hours.

Logging into Powerschool, you will see a notification to update the Journal:

Each Sunday, complete the journal for the preceding week for each ES child. If you are having trouble accessing Powerschool or are unable to see your students in Powerschool,  email ES Powerschool Secretary, Khun Tom <cholthis@isb.ac.th>
